Netflix Machine is an interactive booth designed for the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con. Powered by upcoming Netflix titles, the machine was composed of LED cubes suspended in air to create an eye-catching 3D animated digital canvas.
The USA Pavilion featured seven exhibits spanning over 43,000 sq feet of space, including a half-scale recreation of the Statue of Liberty's hand and torch. Using a multi-step approach, we captured sunset photos of the Lincoln Memorial, digitally painted over them, and mapped them onto a 3D model, creating a captivating "moving
painting" effect.
When attendees activated the machine, the animations changed to simulate a digital capsule triggering a Rube Goldberg style effect.
We collaborated with the UV mapping team from Thinkwell Montreal to create a distinctive
animation pipeline for the torch, resulting in a sophisticated and fully animated 360 sculpture
that interacted with the rear screen content.
We created custom designs and the wrap-around animations that were the focal point of this gamified experience.
Our goal was to create an eye-catching visual experience for attendees while
showcasing the profound history of the USA.

Our dynamic wall projections wove together Snapple's iconic "Real Facts" with the astronomical spectacle of the 2024 solar eclipse, guiding visitors through fascinating eclipse-related trivia moments throughout history.
